This spring style guide will help you get your wardrobe ready for the new season. I have listed some of the staple clothes and shoes for an elegant wardrobe, and the statement accessories I wear season after season.
My spring style guide will help you to step into the new season in style.
Spring Layering
As we transition to warmer days, it’s time to swap the big coats with light layering. If you want to have a versatile wardrobe, focus on having a selection of light jackets, blazers and scarves for spring. For the climate in Europe and especially London, jackets are key for everyday styling.
I have been wearing this white blazer on repeat for the last few years. Whether you prefer white, light pink or beige, a lighter tone tailored jacket is one of the top essentials for an elegant spring wardrobe.
Layering is key for spring. I love throwing a floral print scarf over a neutral tonal look for shopping errands.

The Key Staples For A Spring Wardrobe
Having quality staple clothes & shoes is the foundation for a versatile wardrobe. For the spring summer season, I recommend having tailored trousers, cashmere jumpers, a white shirt, light blue & white pair of jeans, quality neutral t-shirts and smart neutral trainers.
Having the right shoes for spring will allow you to make the most of your wardrobe. In the last few years, my 2 spring staple shoes have been a pair of simple leather trainers and white kitten heel mules.
1.VERONICA BEARD white cotton t-shirt | 2. Balloon sleeve shirt | 3.White strap sandals
4. TOTEME Blue wash jeans | 5. CHLOÉ sneakers
If you prefer to stay on the smart side during the day, opt for neutral flats, ballerinas or loafers.

Style Note: When shopping, It’s important to think of complete outfits rather than individual items. My go-to outfit formula for spring is a combination of smart jumper and tailored trousers. I pair this combo with smart trainers for an effortless everyday look. This mix & match formula looks effortless and will give you the right balance between smart and casual.
Channel Parisian chic this spring with a breton top. It’s a classic that looks elegant and timeless. I love pairing my red breton cardigan with tailored trousers. My trousers were originally extra long, but I tailored them to be styled with trainers or kitten heels and as a result they are worn much more often.

Ditch the skinny fit this season. Think paperbag, wide-leg or flared style instead. Bootcut or straight- leg jeans will give you a fresh and modern look.

A pair of relaxed-fit silk trousers with elasticated waist feels comfortable and is a great alternative to jeans.

Designer accessories will add a luxe feel to your outfit.
