5 Elegant Color Combinations For Spring Summer

Mixing unexpected colors can add a creative touch to your style. In this post, I’m sharing 5 elegant colour combinations that will make your look classy and chic.

Whether you dress for your work or leisure time, playing with unusual colors portrays creativity and confidence.

Lilac & Green

Lilac has been dominating the fashion scene for a while and is a colour that suits most complexions. You can pair a lilac top with light blue jeans or go tonal with matching trousers and a coat. I finished my look with white mules and a green Bottega clutch to add a pop of unexpected colour accent to my style.

Make a statement this season with some unusual colour combinations like lilac and green.

Neon & Cream

Bright neon colours look fresh and modern. If neons suit your skin tone, they can turn into timeless colours in your wardrobe. I styled my kiwi green top with cream flared trousers for a work meeting. Wearing the right colours for your complexion will flatter your skin tone and brighten up your face. If you want to learn what are the best colours for your skin tone and the ones to avoid, you can book an online Body Shape & Colour analysis and get advice from a fashion expert.

“Wearing bright colours brings me so much joy and immediately boosts my mood.  If you are not used to colours, you can start with adding a pop of colour with a small accessory such as a clutch, scarf or shoes.”

Pink & Silver

Pink and silver with a splash of green is a colour combination that will add an edge to your look. In the evening, I would dress up my favorite Jacquemus blazer with a silver sequined top and white mules. For dressy evening looks, I prefer smart denim like this high-waisted bootcut pair from Paco Rabanna.

Canary Yellow & Animal Print

One of my style resolutions for this year is to experiment with new colours and canary yellow has been one of them. I dressed up this look with light jeans and a pair of animal print heels.

When choosing yellow, consider your complexion. Light citrus shades suit ladies with cool complexion, while canary yellow works better on ladies with a warm or olive skin tone.

Military Green & Blush

For off-duty style, I pair my military green jumpsuit with blush pink trainers and a pearl choker.
