Last night, we started Valentine’s celebration with a Collection Preview & Style Event held at one of the oldest Agent Provocateur boutiques in the world. As you know, Agent Provocateur is a British label found in 1994 by Joe Corre, son of the incredible Vivienne Westwood. Our guests explored a styling edit of Valentine’s sets selected by personal stylist Deni Kiro, while sipping champagne & pink truffles in our private boudoir.

Valentine’s Collection Preview

The evening started with a Valentine’s Collection Preview & Styling Presentation under the theme of  “Styling Underwear As Outerwear”. Deni presented her edit of lingerie & clothing pieces from Agent Provocateur latest collection seen at the Annabel’s Catwalk. All items were selected to be wearable and statement-making with some limited pieces on a show like the xx corset.  Deni showcased different ways how to style the underwear as part of your outfit. We discussed the key three lingerie pieces that every woman needs to own in her wardrobe – the showcase bra, the corset and the all-time classic satin camisole.

“Wearing Underwear as Outerwear is a trend that kicked off when Madonna famously wore a blush pink bustier during her Bolde Ambition tour. In the last few years, we have seen a revival of the trend – from Instagram to magazines and more recently at the Oscars. Styling lingerie is all about balance – style it with a two-piece tailored suit or throw an oversized cardigan over your bra and keep the middle lace detail on show. This will add femininity and softness to the look.”

 

Personal Styling & Private Fittings at Agent Provocateur Boudoir Event

Deni was available for personal styling, colour & body shape analysis and Agents were providing private fittings at our very own boudoir. The event was accompanied by complimentary drinks, fabulous Agent Provocateur presents for purchases and 10% exclusive stylist discount. Among the most special pieces was a personalized cream robe with a special message at the back “I’ve Lost My Teddy Bear, Can I Sleep With U?”
