Personal Stylist London Prices: What Each Service Costs and Which to Book

How much does a personal stylist in London actually cost? If you have searched for an answer and found vague ranges, “contact us for a quote” pages and fees that only appear after a phone call, you are not alone. I am Deni Kiro, a personal stylist based in London, and this page does the opposite.

Every figure below is taken from my own personal styling services pages, as listed when this guide was written, so you can see exactly what each session costs, what it includes and how long it lasts. Personal stylist London prices start at £65 per session for On-Going Style Advice, £125 for an hour of district personal shopping and £150 for a style consultation, and rise to £2,500 for a six-session programme spread over three months. Where a service is priced as a range, the lowest option is shown with “from”. If you want to know what luxury personal shoppers across the UK charge in general, my luxury personal shopper cost guide covers the wider market; this page is my own price list.

Which one is right for you? That depends on the problem you are trying to solve, and that is the second half of this guide.

What Are You Actually Paying For?

It is tempting to compare styling fees the way you would compare taxi fares, by the hour. That misses most of the value. My fee covers the work you never see, and that work starts before we meet.

Every booking begins with a style chat or a free initial consultation to set your brief: your lifestyle, body shape, colouring, budget and the specific problem you want solved. For in-store sessions, I pre-select outfits and have them waiting in a private fitting room before you arrive. For online packages, I build the questionnaire and style board before the video call. The hours on the invoice are the hours we spend together; the preparation is included.

Two things are not in the price, and both matter. Your purchases are entirely your own, bought at the till like any other customer, and I take no commission on anything you choose. And every session ends with something you keep: a lookbook, a shopping list, outfit combinations or follow-up notes, depending on the service.

Have you ever paid for an hour of someone’s time and walked away with nothing written down? That is the difference between a styling session and a shopping companion.

Personal Styling Prices in London: Consultations and In-Store Sessions

These are the services most people mean when they search for a stylist. Each one is listed on my personal styling services page, and this is how they differ.

One-To-One Style Consultation, £150

The entry point for almost every client. One hour, online via Zoom or in person at your home, to define your style personality and leave with a plan for your wardrobe. If you are unsure whether personal styling is for you, this is the session to book first, because every other service builds on what it uncovers. My guide to what to expect from a personal style consultation walks through the hour in detail.

Style DNA Session, from £250

An online video session of up to 60 minutes that maps your fashion personality, body shape and colour palette, followed by a personalised digital lookbook. Think of it as the consultation with the homework done for you: you finish with a document you can shop from for years.

In-Store Personal Styling, from £450

The hands-on option. We meet in central London, where I have already pre-selected outfits to your brief and hung them in a private fitting room. Women’s sessions run from two to eight hours, priced from £450 to £1,200; men’s sessions run from two to six hours, priced from £450 to £900. A two-hour session suits a specific gap, such as workwear or an occasion. A full day rebuilds a wardrobe.

Walking into a fitting room where the rail has already been edited to your shape, colouring and budget is the moment most of my clients understand what the fee buys.

Personal Shopper Cost in London: Hourly, Half Day and Full Day

If your problem is buying rather than deciding, my personal shopping services are priced to match the time you need.

District Personal Shoppers, £125 per hour

The most flexible option on the list. Mayfair, Knightsbridge, Chelsea and Regent Street each have their own personal shopper page, and every one is billed at £125 per hour after a short style chat to set the brief. Book a single hour for one missing piece, or a full six-hour day for a seasonal rebuild. Because the rate is hourly, you decide the total.

Westfield Stratford Personal Shopper, £250 to £750

Three fixed packages for east London: a two-hour Speed Styling session at £250, a four-hour Wardrobe Refresh at £500 and a six-hour Wardrobe Makeover at £750. Useful if you want a defined budget before you set foot in the centre.

Luxury Personal Shopping, £450

Here the shopping comes to you. I pre-select up to ten pieces and bring them to your home or hotel, followed by a one-hour private styling session to build them into outfits. It suits visitors to London, anyone short on time and anyone who would rather try clothes in their own mirror than a changing room.

A private styling session in your own space, with the edit already done, is what the luxury tier buys.

Wardrobe Services Prices: Edit Before You Shop

Not every styling problem is a shopping problem. If you own plenty and still have nothing to wear, my wardrobe services are priced for exactly that.

  • Online Wardrobe Edit, £450. Two hours on Zoom, sorting what you own into keep, replace and sell, then outfit ideas, a shopping list and follow-up notes. Extra time is charged separately.
  • Wardrobe Cleanse Home Visit, £650. Up to three hours at your home, for women and men, ending with a set of outfit combinations from the pieces you keep.

Which should you book, the edit or the shop? If your wardrobe is full and your outfits are not, edit first. The shopping list that comes out of a cleanse is far shorter and far more accurate than any list you would write yourself. My comparison of wardrobe edit vs personal shopping sets out the decision in full.

Online Personal Stylist Prices: From £350

For clients outside London, or anyone who prefers to work remotely, my online personal stylist packages for women and men are listed from £350. Each includes a pre-session questionnaire, a personalised style board of shoppable outfits and a follow-up video session, so you receive the same thinking as an in-person client without the travel. If you are weighing the two formats, my piece on online personal shopping versus the in-store experience compares them properly.

Full Makeover Packages: £1,950 and £2,500

Two services sit at the top of the price list, and they are built for people who want the whole job done rather than a single session.

Style Makeover for Women or Men, £1,950. A coaching session to set direction, a home wardrobe cleanse, a six-hour in-store shopping day, body shape and colour analysis, a personalised lookbook and ongoing support afterwards. The package combines a coaching session, home wardrobe cleanse, six-hour in-store shopping day, body shape and colour analysis, a personalised lookbook and ongoing support in one service.

Style Evolution Package, £2,500. Six sessions with me, scheduled flexibly over three months. This is the choice for a genuine change of chapter: a new role, a move, a milestone birthday, or simply the decision to stop getting dressed by accident.

How Much Is a Stylist for Men in London?

Men ask me this question more often than women do, and the answer is that men’s prices mirror the women’s list almost exactly. The consultation is £150, the Style DNA session is from £250, in-store styling is from £450, the Wardrobe Cleanse is £650 and the Style Makeover is £1,950. Event Styling For Men is the one service with its own pricing, from £250 for a 2.5-hour session that sources a complete outfit for a specific event.

Every men’s service, from suiting to smart casual to a full wardrobe rebuild, is set out on my men’s personal stylist page.

Which Personal Styling Service Should You Book?

Price tells you what a session costs. Your situation tells you which one is worth it. If you are still deciding whether to work with me at all, my guide on how to choose a personal stylist in London sets out the checks I would run on anyone, myself included. Once that is settled, match yourself to a row below.

Your situation Book this Price
Not sure where to start One-To-One Style Consultation £150
Want a written style blueprint to shop from Style DNA Session from £250
One missing piece or one event District Personal Shopper, one or two hours from £125
Full wardrobe, nothing to wear Wardrobe Cleanse Home Visit or Online Wardrobe Edit £650 or £450
Want new pieces chosen for you, fast In-Store Personal Styling, half day from £450
Visiting London, short on time Luxury Personal Shopping at your hotel £450
Outside London Online Personal Stylist from £350
Everything, properly, once Style Makeover £1,950
A new chapter, over three months Style Evolution Package £2,500

Still torn between two rows? The free initial consultation exists for precisely this question, and it costs nothing.

Four Ways to Get More From the Fee

1. Start with the £150 consultation, not the £1,950 makeover. Most of my clients discover that one focused session answers the question they came with. The larger packages are for people who already know they want the full programme.

2. Edit before you shop. A wardrobe cleanse can help identify repeat purchases and give you a clearer shopping list before you buy again.

3. Use the hourly rate for small jobs. At £125 an hour, a single district shopping hour for a missing blazer or a wedding outfit is a small way to borrow a professional eye, and existing clients can keep that eye on call through On-Going Style Advice at £65 a session.

4. Give or ask for a voucher. My gift vouchers are available for any service or amount and are valid for 12 months from the date of sale, so a birthday present can become a spring wardrobe.

Yes. Gift vouchers are available for any service or any amount, and they are valid for 12 months from the date of sale.

The Short Version

Hiring a stylist in London does not have to be a four-figure decision. The entry points are £65 a session for existing clients’ ongoing advice, £125 for an hour of shopping and £150 for a consultation, the mid-range sessions sit between £450 and £650, and the full programmes at £1,950 and £2,500 are there for clients who want everything handled in one go. The right choice depends on whether your problem is deciding, editing or buying, and the free initial consultation is the simplest way to find out which it is. Shall we start there?
